Productivity during the building and maintenance of software can be measured very precisely by linking quality measurements to productivity measurements. It is possible to agree a pricing model on the basis of these measurements which means that the assignment is billed fairly on the basis of what has actually been produced.

It is possible to agree a pricing model on the basis of these measurements which means that the assignment is billed fairly on the basis of what has actually been produced.
On the one hand this model allows the client to amend its wishes and requirements during the project without the need to renegotiate the price. On the other hand it enables the supplier to maintain a profit margin on the project even with changing wishes and requirements, so that the project is not placed under (internal) financial pressure.
