Seminar: Agree on expectations & manage your commitments
17 March 2009
In the seminar on 16 April 2009 from 15.00 till 18.30 hours the content-related and practical aspects of managing software projects with regard to legal and technical quality is examined. Valuable know-how for securing great interests!
IT-projects relatively often result in legal procedures. This is due to a growing complexity and greater financial interests. Clients also take legal action sooner in the event of a dispute between the parties involved. In the event of a dispute contractors are also increasingly held liable for not carrying out projects on time or in a correct way.
As a contractor you can avoid unpleasant surprises. Certa Legal and SIG have combined forces in services with which you can manage your software projects even more adequately. This innovative work method will be presented at the seminar:
- Certa Legal will present Legal Project Management (LPM). This service implies that you can leave the management of the legal aspects in project files to the experts of Certa Legal with confidence. LPM intends to introduce a structure in the legal documentation and monitor legal matters, including quality standards, within the software project.
- The Software Improvement Group will present the SIG Software Portfolio Monitor. This service means that there is a permanent monitoring of the product quality of software systems in development or maintenance. In this way it is possible to check whether previously established quality standards are actually observed. As a result quality problems in software development are noted at an early stage, so that restoration operations are still possible with regard to costs and planning.
Possible problems are detected at an early stage and reported because of a careful management of legal documents as well as of software systems. By doing so, you can avoid that contracts reach a deadlock because of insufficient legal management or insufficient quality of the software system.
